Plastic Balls

Plastic Balls

  • Plastic Balls

Plastic balls are used in low load applications and flow control.

Colored plastic balls are used for identification purposes, and in many medical applications.
Plastic balls offer excellent fatigue and corrosion resistance, impact strength and in many cases natural lubricity.

POM Ball
Properties,features and applications
•     High strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, easy to machine
•     Very low moisture absorption
•     Good wear and abrasion resistance, low coefficient of friction against metals because of natural lubricity
•     Wide range chemical resistance (including many solvents)
•     Commonly used diemnsions: 3/32"~2"
•     Based on the above properties and features, delrin balls are used in pump, valve, bearing, slide and rolling applications.

Nylon Ball
Properties,features and applications:

•     extremely good wear resistance
•     high tensile strength and modulus of elasticity
•     high impact resistance, a high heat distortion temperature, and resist wear, abrasion, and vibration
•     withstand sustained contact with a wide variety of chemicals, alkalis, dilute acids or oxidizing agents
•     the relative light weight of nylon-- approximately 1/8 the weight of bronze, 1/7 the weight of cast iron, and 1/2 the weight of aluminum -- which reduces both the inertial and static loads and eases the handling of large components during maintenance or replacement procedures.
•     Commonly used dimension :Nylon 1/16"~1 3/4"
•     Nylon balls are an excellent choice for applications that require a lightweight, resilient and abrasion-resistant material that performs well in hot, chemically aggressive and humid environments. Used without lubrication, nylon balls provide greater toughness and ductility than most plastics.Nylon balls are also an environmentally favorable choice
•    Widely used as bearing wear materials,check valve,light load,switch,etc.

PP Ball
Properties,features and applications:

•    excellent resistance to organic solvents, degreasing agents and electrolytic attack
•    excellent resistance to acids and alkalines, but poor resistance to aromatic, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents.
•    lower impact strength, but its working temperatures and tensile strength are superior to low or high density polyethylene.
•    light in weight, resistant to staining, and has a low moisture absorption rate.
•    tough, heat-resistant, semi-rigid material
•    excellent chemical resistance and low density, as well as the highest melting point of the volume thermoplastics, non-toxic
•    commonly used dimensions: 1/8"~3"
•    ideal for the transfer of hot liquids or gases. It is recommended for vacuum systems and where higher heats and pressures are encountered

PTFE Ball
•   Mechanical properties of Teflon® are low compared to other plastics, but its properties remain at a useful level over a wide temperature  range of -100°F to +400°F (-73°C to 204°C).

•   excellent thermal and electrical in sulation properties and a low coefficient of friction.
•   no known industrial acids or caustics that will attack Teflon, and there is no known solvent for it
•   for applications where lightweight, non-metallic, and erosion-resistant properties are required.Commonly used dimensions: 1/32"~2"
