Chrome steel balls are widely used as ball bearings, including the motor-vehicle industry.DPPC strictly selects its sources (producers) of steel and controls the heat treatment process applied to chrome steel balls, and is able to ensure the balls good composition and hardness.Small balls are produced from steel wire; large balls are hot-forged from steel bars.
Chrome steel is made to extremely high purity, and via appropriate heat treatment it is easy to obtain an evenly distributed spherical arrangement (of carbon particles) and to achieve even structure and hardness. Chrome steel possesses comparatively high resistance to contact fatigue and friction. Appropriate heat treatment also enables excellent stability of size to be attained.
